Hi. I'm Amir Lev, and welcome to my new blog, Security Levity.
I'll be writing here about security topics: spam, web threats, bots, malware, and so on. It's what I know best: I'm the CTO of the biggest security company you've never heard of.
(But I won't be selling you on our products: we only sell technologies to security companies and service providers, not to IT departments or end-users. You might already be using our technologies at home or at work, without even knowing it.)
In the coming weeks, I plan to blog about specific issues, like these:
- Spammer tricks
- Spam legality around the world
- Cultural aspects of spam
- Cultural aspects of web filtering
- Mac OS malware
- "419" advance-fee fraud
I'll also cover topical topics that come up in the news. Computerworld is an IT news site, after all...
But I also want to make this an interactive place: where I can answer questions and cover topics that you suggest. Feel free to add comments and ask Amir!
