Company treasurer calls this IT pilot fish into her office. "She had tried everything to get her printer to print after adding paper to it," says fish. "I looked at the print queue and saw she had tried numerous times to print. We tried several things she thought might be wrong before she finally said, 'Any ideas?'
"I went over and turned off the power and turned it back on. The printer started to print. She thanked me and said she didn't know where the power button was.
"Later that day she called me in a panic again. She was late for a meeting and she couldn't get her laptop to undock. I hit the release button; nothing happened.
"I asked her if she had turned the lock on. She gave me a blank stare. Sure enough, the bar was pushed over.
"She told me I must have done that when I was checking out her printer. So much for saving the day."
