After a long day at work, this help desk pilot fish arrives home to find still more computer problems.
"Having worked on the help desk dealing with the users, you kind of go into autopilot for checking and fixing problems," sighs fish.
"My partner was complaining about her laptop and the fact it was out of power and it was plugged in.
"A few seconds of investigation and I found out it was indeed plugged in but the outlet was not powered on, and with a little cry of gotcha and a little laugh the laptop was back in and working.
"My partner thought I was being condescending toward her and ended up being in a bad mood with me for a few days. Despite explaining to her that it's a common mistake and I see it all the time, I was in the dog house.
"Sometimes the job should stay in the office."
