It's a stormy day, and the power goes out at the office complex where this pilot fish works.
"IT office and all racks are in a windowless basement, so needless to say when the power goes out it gets dark," fish reports.
"UPSes kick in and everything's live. Then the call comes in from the not-so-bright secretary from the floor above: 'Do you guys have power?'
"We really had no response for that other than 'no.'
"'Well, why is my computer still running?' says the secretary.
"Batteries, we respond.
"'OK, thanks.'"
