Shark Tank

To be fair, nothing IS what she got

This IT pilot fish gets a trouble ticket from a user who regularly has to go online to print waybills for packages she sends out.

"All of a sudden, she can no longer print waybills," says fish. "I go to her office and check her printer to make sure it's functioning properly. I then ask her to print a waybill.

"She goes through the process of setting up the waybill. then clicks to print it. A couple of screens pop up and she quickly closes them. 'See,' she says, 'it doesn't print.'

"I ask her what the windows were that she closed so fast. 'They're nothing,' she says.

"So I sit at her desk and get her to walk me through setting up a waybill to print. As I hit print, a printer window opens up that wants me to do double-sided printing. 'Just close that, it's nothing,' she says.

"Of course, closing the window also cancels her print job. I reset her printer to default to single-sided printing.

"Oddly enough, the waybills print fine when she doesn't cancel the print job."
