An 83-year-old grandmother is suing Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) after she was badly injured at an Apple Store. She allegedly walked into an 'invisible' glass door because of Apple's negligence. In IT Blogwatch, bloggers see through her complaint. By

What's LG advertising?.. Kieran Crowley and Todd Venezia report the peril: Evelyn Paswall...claims the tech companys signature glass architecture is a menace...after she failed to see the glass door...and smashed her face. ... [She's] suing Apple for $1 million, saying the company was negligent.
...
Paswall became a critic on Dec. 13. ... [She] didnt realize she was heading straight for a wall of glass...she argues that Apple should have put marks on the glass. ... Paswall, once one of the top dealers in high-price Russian sable furs, declined comment. ... At the store yesterday, small white warning strips could be seen on the glass.
Damon Brown notes: The total amount is one million, but I suspect shell be paying more in public ridicule than [that]. ... The baffling part here...[is] the fact that she...miss[ed] obvious signs that she was running into a building.
...
The facts just dont add up. ... Its hard not to think that this isnt a personal problem.
But someone calling himself David, says it happens often: When I worked at apple retail, someone would walk right into the glass door in the morning before we opened or in the evening after we closed at least once a week. Ive seen people both young and old walk straight into the glass even with the markers on the window.
So Dave Neal channels Paswall's lawyer: "Apple wants to be cool and modern and have the type of architecture that would appeal to the tech crowd," said her attorney, Derek Smith "But...they have to appreciate the danger that this high-tech modern architecture poses."
...
Smith specialises in discrimination cases.
And Dan Moren hilariously channels avian anger: Sources [say] the suit will be merged with a class action...launched by a number of local birds.
And Finally...
What on Earth is LG advertising here?
