Seeing Through Windows

Apple gets a taste of its own medicine

Think Apple has a monopoly on clever, entertaining ads bashing the competition? Think again. A new Lenovo ad cleverly shows why the Lenovo X300 is sleeker and more useful than the Macbook Air.

The video, available below, points out several serious defects with the Macbook Air --- it doesn't have an optical drive, and it's lacking important ports. When you add all that on, the Macbook Air won't fit into an interoffice mail envelope.

Lenovo's tag line is quite clever, and succinctly points out why its ultralite beats the Macbook Air, at least when it comes to expandability:

We don't add stuff on. We build it in.

All that being said, the slick aluminum design of the Macbook Air beats the black, boxy-looking X300 hands-down.
