Expectations/speculation for the September 9th, 'Let's Rock' Apple event (hint, no Macs)

For all of you Mac fans out there, a bit of bad news first. This event is about iPod/iPhone. Not Mac. Apple's traditional September event, since 2005 anyway, has been strictly about iPods and iTunes. From the look of the event invite, this year won't be any different.
So, on that note, I'd like to speculate about what I think Apple will release. And no, those glass trackpads on MacBooks will have to wait!
It goes a little something like this:
- Apple will tout its new market leading position in music. It has changed the music industry entirely. It doesn't expect to stop the innovation. The new digital album by the Artic Monkeys will be previewed. Boom!
- The App Store is changing the way software is developed and distributed and is THE innovation of 2008
- iTunes 8. New album art features, a whole new type of music experience. Unlimited subscriptions. Pandora-like Genius reccomendation system. Maybe .Mac synching of personal Music - if Apple is technically ready - this might wait. Sneer.
- The NikePlus relationship has been a big hit. Now it will have more features. Additionally, a new partnership with 24 hour fitness will be announced that will start to blend the lines between gaming and excercise.
- The much needed iPhone software 2.1 released. Some new features to bring in new iTunes toys but mostly bug fixes for 2.0.x. Bad news spin: no background calls to apps like AIM. Boo!
- iPod Nano. New form factor. Crazy colors. More storage. Huzzah.
- iPod Touch. More iPhone features. GPS, camera, bluetooth, speakers maybe? To get crazy, maybe 3G/WiMAX, VoIP apps, Sling Player ... and ...
- Apple GPS application. Storage of Google maps locally? Turn by turn? Apple to take on the lucrative GPS market? An iPod in every Car? Carpod?
- One more thing? Tablet 720x480 pixel iPad...oh noes!!
Sorry, got a little whimsical there at the end. I didn't forget anything did I?
