Find online info on where to vote
With the 2008 presidential election starting in little more than 13 hours from now in the eastern U.S., it might be a lot easier to plan your day if you know where your polling place is located and what time it opens.
The New York Times newspaper has posted a detailed and helpful online guide listing Web sites that direct potential voters to their polling places and to a myriad of other resources for information on the voting process.
The sites also provide information on where to call if you have a problem with voting on election day.
Among the Web sites featured are the League of Women Voters Polling Place Finder, the National Association of Secretaries of State Can I Vote? page, and the Election Protection Coalition's voting problems reporting page.
