Guitar news: Rosensweig to Guitar Hero, Allchin strums Enigma

What is it about tech execs and guitars? Do they all secretly want to be on the guy on the stage at the concert? I think so.
Anyway, Dan Rosensweig (who I worked with at Ziff Davis, before the company was split into two or three parts) is on his way to head Activision's Guitar Hero franchise, according to All Things Digital.Â
Update: Charlie Cooper over at CNET says it is now official.Â
And the man who brought you Microsoft Vista has come out with his first album. Jim Allchin's CD is titled "Enigma" (check your volume before clicking). "Think Stevie Ray Vaughan combined with Rascal Flatts and John Mayer" according to the site.
I've known Jim a long time and he has been a guitar afficiando even longer than a techie. Okay, I hope he has a better reception with Enigma than he did with Vista.Â
