"I'm a PC" ad: Finally, Microsoft gets it

Microsoft unveiled the next phase of its ad campaign yesterday, minus Jerry Seinfeld --- and this time around, the ads work.
The new ad starts off with a Microsoft employee who's a dead ringer for the PC guy in Apple's ads, saying into the camera: "I'm a PC, and I've been made into a stereotype."
From there, it shows a variety of different people briefly saying why they're "a PC." Included are celebrities such as actress Eva Longoria and her husband basketball player Tony Parker, as well as other people including a graffiti artist, a commercial fisherman, and a scuba driver inside a shark cage.
The point is simple --- you can use a PC for a wide range of tasks. And there's an important subliminal point as well: none of those being portrayed display the kind of smarmy hipness that the Apple guy does in the Apple ads.
