Firefox stalls
While the French tout Firefox's success -- see "Firefox nears 30% market share in Europe" -- the numbers from U.S. measurement vendors is less impressive.
Net Applications' June data, for example, pegs Firefox at 14.55%, in a statistical dead heat with May's 14.54%. Both those numbers are almost a full percentage point off the all-time high of 15.42% in April.
Microsoft's IE, meanwhile, increased its share for the second straight month, and now accounts for 78.84% by Net Applications' tally. IE hasn't had a share that large since February.
