Make space for these voters

It's laudible that the powers that be over at MySpace have decided to spur their users to get involved in the presidential election. Offering polls to their users not only gets them thinking, but the polls also reveal to everyone else what a good percentage of them anticipate will happen come election day - at least which levers they're expecting to pull when it's their turn in the voting booth. I was somewhat surprised that MySpace has found that a majority of their voting aged users expects they'll vote come election day - a whopping 86% of them!   To me, it's not important which party they're registered with; party affiliation is secondary to learning about the candidates - and apparently, MySpace users are more likely than other adults to look up information (online) about candidates and even have visited chat rooms featuring candidates and/or public officials. Perhaps initially I was a bit cynical, but now that MySpace has revealed this trend in it's adult users, I have to say I'm impressed. In fact, I'm curious as to how MySpace's own "presidential primary election" will turn out.
