Looks like the hammer of justice has dropped on Virginia native, Kenneth Kwak who "pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to unauthorized access to a protected computer in furtherance of a criminal or tortious act," according to this CW article. Insider abuse of network systems has become a top security concern for companies and rightly so. Numerous studies and surveys have shown the insider threat to be one of the most difficult to combat. As the article points out, tighter internal controls are in order. As we can see, this is easier said than done!
