Free training DVD's from the USPS

Normally I don't cover the same topics here at Computerworld as what I've covered in my own blog (mostly because the Editors told me not to), but occasionally something comes up that I think is worth covering in both places.  This is one of those instances.

Good training videos are hard to come by, and usually expensive.  But the United States Postal Service is offering up a series of seven DVD's that cover different aspects of fraud prevention, ranging from recovering from identity theft to work-at-home fraud to telemarketing fraud.  Each of these disks is free, including shipping and handling.  Navigating the USPS site is a little problematic, so you might want to open up the order page in a seperate tab in your browser (or a seperate window, if you're still using Internet Explorer)

I've ordered at least one copy of each DVD to use in my corporate security training program, as well as ordering a second copy of the identity theft videos to share with friends and family.  I wonder if it's too early to sit down with my sons, 4 and 6, and have them watch the videos?  It's never too early to start their education in the dangers of the Internet.  I

I am hesitiant to post this, however we over the age of 50 are at risk for identity theft. Those of you holding a Medicare card are at risk. Your ID number is your SS No.!!!
I have contacted the Medicare office and the SS Admin to no vail. They say they are directed by congress and can make no changes without their approval.
So I contacted my two congressmen - also to no avial
