OS security and why people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

The relative security of Windows has been taking a beating for so long (somewhat deserved, but not to the level that it has gotten to) that it's always interesting when you read articles like this one on SANS.

A good reminder that we all need to be vigilant, employ proper protection methods like antivirus software and firewalls and be careful about what we do on the web.

Just because you feel safe on your choice of OS, doesn't mean you are, particularly if you don't do what's necessary to protect your systems.
