I'm looking for a new long distance company

AT&T has decided to rewrite their privacy policy in such a way that makes my call records theirs, not mine. They've worded the policy in such a way as to make it clear that their number one priority is the protection of their business and my privacy is just going to have to go away if it interferes. While I admire their bluntness and honesty, there is no way I can continue doing business with AT&T.
It doesn't take a genius to see where AT&T is headed with this change in policy. Given the lawsuit the Electronic Frontier Foundation is currently pressing against AT&T, this change in policy is clearly aimed at preventing further such lawsuits by consumers. But it also makes it clear that AT&T will no longer need the government to supply a subpeona to get your phone records. Not that they ever turned down the government in the first place.
I don't have a lot of recourse in the situation. As far as I can tell, there are no laws against the changes AT&T is making to their privacy policies. So there is only one recourse I can take, voting with my money. Which is going to be hard in my area, since they are currently responsible for a majority of the services available to me. But this is a big enough issue that I'm willing to take the time to find alternatives.
