Apple releases the fix of 26

Like our Windows using brethren, we Apple users have the occasional important security update to install. While Apple doesn't have a 'patch Tuesday,' they did release -- this past Tuesday -- update 2006-004, which contains 26 fixes. This is a sizable and important security fix and tops out at almost 30 megabytes in size.  Because this update corrects several recently discovered and potentially critical flaws, OS X users are encouraged to download and install this upgrade.  It will help protect their systems against possible attacks that could exploit the aforementioned flaws. Most of us have our machines set up to automatically check for updates; however, if you're impatient like me, you can download the patch here.
