The lesson: The importance of employee motivation. You’ve got to do everything you can to make your employees proud to work for you and proud of what they’re doing. They need to sense the importance of what they’re doing.

First you're company has to do something people would be proud of doing. Then you've got to hire people who would be proud to do it.

Don't hire people who are just looking for pay checks.

If you want to really motivate people, you must get them 'vested' in the success of the company. Make them part owners or otherwise find a way to get their skin in the game.

If people are going to get paid just for doing their job, why should they get excited?

If you have a dream, share your dream with them by giving them a piece of your dream pie.

Talk is cheap. Skin in the game is not.

Motivation in employees is important because it affects work production in companies. I
believe that organizations should focus in making sure that people in the company still motivated.

I always knew that there'd

I always knew that there'd be a connection between IT and business. But my curiosity lies in the aspect of business that is addressed. Is it business with respect to Project Management, Financial/Management Accounting or Business communications? Plus, how does Information Assurance fit into the business perspective and does the CISM certification qualify for a business+technical certification again how does the CISSP relate in a business setting.
