In search of Exchange tools

You have 200 subfolders in your Inbox folder on your Exchange mailbox.

You need to change the permissions to all of them. What do you do?

What if you need to do it cheaply or for free? Who do you turn to?

I've been trying to find a good solution to this problem on the web and have so far come up short.

There are certainly some tools that appear like they will do the job, but they cost from $300 to $800. It's absolutely ridiculous to have to pay that for something that I do once in a blue moon.

You'd think that someone out there had come up with some sort of script or CLI based tool to do this sort of thing, but if they are, google isn't being very forthcoming in my searches.

So what is an admin to do when they look in the usual spots and don't find what they need? Push the problem off until another day, I suppose.

Sometimes the hardest part about being an IT admin is finding the right tool.
