Experts: Wake up to cybersecurity threats

Anyone in IT knows that the networks in our country are rather insecure, yet this article was still disheartening. Our cybersecurity problems are no secret, perhaps especially in the private sector, but at least we should be able to expect our government networks to be highly secure, or at least more secure.  The article points out how looting of U.S. government databases - on unsecured networks and containing sensitive data - has been rampant.  If a band of miscreants had enough time and money (as do some terrorist organizations) they could launch a devastating cyberattack, leaving at least portions of our communications systems crippled. I see no reason to disagree with the suggestion that our government invest in improved recruiting and training of cybersecurity experts.
