One bug you probably *won't* encounter at work

Odds are good that your job doesn't require the care and maintenance of PlayStation 3s. (If it does, when are you and I setting up our job exchange?) However, if you own one of the little darlings, be advised that SecurityFocus is reporting an unpleasant vulnerability in the system. It seems that the PS3's built-in NetFront browser isn't able to properly handle a large mass of user-supplied data, so if a user were to visit a malicious Web page crafted to flood the system's memory, the machine could choke or crash. No patch yet, so for now probably not much to be done beyond avoiding hinky sites, but forewarned is as usual forearmed.
