Free iPhone unlocking gets easier
Another day, another iPhone SIM unlocking tool. The group known as the iPhone Dev Team has released a GUI version of the iUnlock software called anySIM. Like iUnlock, anySIM will unlock an iPhone for use with other GSM networks. anySIM doesn’t require the several steps at the command line that made iUnlock seem daunting to casual users.(though the iPhone must still be "jail broken" to allow installation of the anySIM application. As with the iUnlock and the commercial iPhone SIMFree, unlocking software the was released last week, there is no guarantee that Apple won’t release a software update that re-locks an unlocked iPhone.
