Now businesses take bite of the Apple
- IT TOPICS:Security
In his article, Jim Dalrymple reports that SME’s are increasingly turning toward the Mac for business use. The Mac has always been a favorite of graphic designers and engineers. However, with malware attacking from all corners of the globe, all sorts of businesses are finding the Mac a refreshing change and a more secure option (at least for the moment) from the traditional WinTel world. Perhaps it’s the controversial Mi2g study that found Mac OS X to be one of the safest OS in the world in 24/7 environments. My feeling is that with future advances in Apple software and hardware, still more users will be turning toward Mac OS X. The fact is, today’s Macs are easier than ever to use and can be integrated into nearly every network environment. Whatever the reason for switching, I’m not at all surprised. I haven’t lost a minute of down time due to malware or spyware during the two years I’ve owned my Mac - and to me, that’s money in the bank! Don’t just take my word for it, see what other converts are saying.
