I have absolutely no details on this developing story, other than an article on a rival blogsite and a Podcast from today's Computerworld blog. Much more qualified Computerworld bloggers than I will fill you in with all the juicy gossip and details. I just happened to laugh about the Norwegian delegation's letter to the ISO regarding the vote on whether or not to allow Microsoft's OOXML into the fraternity as a competing "standard" to ODF.
Apparently Norway is saying there were "irregularities" with the vote itself. The nature of the "irregularities" is unknown at this time.
I am a proud Floridian, and so I wanted to state emphatically and categorically that Florida had nothing to do with the vote! Nothing at all, I tell you! We can't even SPELL OOggeeddityXML down here!
I just think it's refreshing that a vote went haywire and Florida was not involved, that's all. Now I am going to try and write a quality blog on some other topic.
