Popfly never caught on

One friend compared it to frozen stir-fry: Popfly. What is [was] Popfly? It was a neat tool for creating Web 2 applications, and now, it may be gone.
I can't describe how nice and easy-to-use it is. Find and play the game, "Sarah Palin Moose Hunt". Notice how well the sprites are animated with minimal programming. See how smoothly helicopter movements are controlled through the keyboard moves. Enjoy the background comments. And collision detection just plain works, again, with very little actual programming.
Let's be honest. The amount of automation work keeps growing. The number of coders keeps shrinking, especially as ever increasing requirements grind the joy out of most projects.
Popfly was a neat compromise between useability and impressive results. Too bad Popfly never caught on.
