Slim MacBook confirmed... by rapper!
SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. -- Apple will announce a rumored 12-inch, flash-based ultraportable mini-laptop at MacWorld Jan. 14, according to rapper Just Blaze, who performed this week for Apple employees at a company party.
I told you December 4 that a Taiwanese publication called DigiTimes reported that two companies there are supplying electronics for new, unannounced Apple and Dell ultraportable laptops that may ship in January. The Apple device would have a 12.1-inch screen, according to the reports.Â
Interestingly, Just Blaze and other performers were not paid money for their performances, according to blog posts. Their fee? They were each given one of the new laptops.
