Valfrejus, France - The iPhone is great on the slopes. It plays music while I head down the hill, I can communicate with my friends if I want to meet up somewhere, even watch some videos of the days activities if I am bored while drinking hot chocolate afterwards. Its solid construction also lends itself well to the many falls it incurs when I attempt to showboat down the mountain.
Today, I am adding blogging to the list of things to do with the iPhone on the slopes. After getting on the lift today, I checked my morning pre-slopes blogpost on Computerworld to see if it was getting any action.
A commenter mentioned an embarrassing typo I made.
"Damn! That is going to be there all day!"
Unless I could change it from the iPhone. I noticed that the edit menu was available on the iPhone so I gave it a try.
Perhaps a testament to Computerworld's excellent standards-compliant CMS blogging engine, it all worked exactly like it should have on a desktop browser. The process was fairly quick and simple - I grabbed a video of the latter half the operation below with my Sanyo Xacti camera.
Easy! I even impressed my French chairlift companions...
Next up, I am going to attempt do my taxes on the half pipe.
