Apple iPhone 5 speculation climbs yet another notch today on reports the company has begun winding down display orders for its existing model, making a third quarter iPhone 5 launch even more likely.

Apple's new MacBook Pro models include an SD card slot, and that slot offers a lot more power than just moving photos. In fact, SD cards can even be used to boot the new MacBooks.

The Apple Dock Connector for iPhone, iPad and iPod is a legacy item, long past its sell-by date. When introduced you'd use it to sync your data and power up your device. iCloud sync means you only need the cable to pump power into the thing. So, is it time Apple dealt a new connection?

Apple's WWDC is tomorrow. We know there will be some serious iPhone information. What else will we see?

Apple is prepared to invest every ounce of company muscle, intellect, invention and clout in order to ensure that ally-now-rival, Google, can never again claim bragging rights to innovating ahead of industry trends. And Cupertino is already planning radical user interface innovation in OS X 10.7.

Analysis: Apple's iOS 5 and iCloud are great news for existing iPhone users, but they aren't enough to help Apple stop Android's ever-increasing momentum.
