Did you see this video? I confess I'm not of the sort that stands on line for the newest iPhone; I'm a Mac user but not a fanatic. And I do occasionally (*right*) deplore the excesses of our special subculture. But just as it's okay for you to make fun of your family members but not okay for me to, it's one thing for me to mock the fanboi community and another for some local-news hairball to think he has the right. I don't know who the guy on line might have been, but frankly I'd be honored to chip in to buy him his iPhone. (Warning to especially delicate flowers: Word spoken that may require you to fumble for your smelling salts.) HT to Boing Boing for propagating far and wee, and a nod to the anchor who tried to keep the whole mess from happening.
