Shark Tank

That's not how it works

This company's main manufacturing plant is located in the sometimes frigid North, while another plant is in a place where it gets cold enough to snow only once every few years, reports a pilot fish in the ice belt.

"The two plants connect to the mainframe via WAN, but use their own Internet connections for everyday use," fish says.

"The weather forecast here was for an ice storm, and I received a call from a user at the other plant: 'I hear you're having an ice storm. Is your ice storm the reason why we can't connect to the Internet?'"
