Violence/Gaming connection severed?

I couldn't wait to show this press release "Link between online gaming and violence killed off" to my teenaged son - although I think he's already relaxed. Apparently psychologists at Middlesex University asked online gamers (between 12 and 83 years old) to answer some questions relating to personality, anger and aggression both before and after playing World of Warcraft for two hours.
Even though the questionnaire was the same before and after, the responses were different after the gamers had played a couple of hours. I don't know the questions that were asked of the gamers and my son doesn't play World of Warcraft, but he did say that even violent video games don't make him feel tense after having played them and he added that in fact they sometimes make him feel calm afterward. He did throw in though that that was only the case when he'd won. When he loses, then he mostly just wants to play again (until he wins).   Â
